Ribjet Lightwave 12             Starting at $59,900    

The Lighwave 12 (3.8m) is a high performance gas jet tender designed by award winning naval architect Ward Setzer to be the perfect partner to for mid-sized yacht applications. The design is able to accomidate either the classic Lighwave collar system or a half round hypalon inflatable tube set if needed.

 

The tender provides comfortable seating for a up to 7 passengers and utilizing the Lighwave collar system creats a great amount of internal volume for storage and gear. Coupled with a 90hp Subaru boxer diesel engine and Weber jet pump this tender can be fueled directly from the mothership without the need to carry gas onboard. It also packs a powerful punch with a top speed of 35+knts. The Lightwave 12 is also available with a 120hp gas engine.

 

 

Every boat that is sold through the factory is shipped via direct freight. Each boat is individually wrapped for transport and placed in a custom shipping crate to insure the vessel arrives ready to use. See shipping information.

The Ribjet Lightwave series of tenders utilizes a lightweight , compact, fuel effecient, opposing piston diesel engine. This engine is coupled to a custom designed power conversion system attached directly to the jet pump bringing gas engine performance and RPM to the entire power band range. Each engine is tuned at the factory and hp is adjusted based on tender size and application from 110-145hp. Based on the Subaru Boxer diesel engine parts are available worldwide no matter your port of call.
